Reading the numbers. Receipts are alcohol (+cover) sales only. T12 receipts is the actual sum reported over the trailing 12 filing periods; Avg receipts / mo is that total divided by periods filed (for a clean 12/12 filer, avg × 12 = T12). Est. annual revenue = avg monthly receipts × 12 ÷ alcohol share — type any % or use a preset. Beer/wine-only and no-alcohol spots hold no mixed-bev permit and won’t appear. Gaps = fewer filings than periods since the location’s first filing in the window (possible late/erratic filer — hot lead). New = first filing inside the window. Current Bald Ginger clients are struck through automatically. “TX locs” fills in after the statewide check, which scans the full trailing 12 months so a location that filed late still counts.

What this pulls. Sales-tax rows come from the Comptroller’s Active Sales Tax Permit Holders file, filtered to food-service NAICS codes (722xxx) — every new restaurant, bar, coffee shop, or food counter shows up here the week it registers, including no-alcohol spots the Mixed Beverage search can’t see. TABC rows come from the state license file; the Type column shows the license class. A brand-new permit with no sales history yet usually means the place is still in build-out — the single best moment to introduce a bookkeeper. Current clients are struck through.
